INGREDIENTS

Yeast

Butter 50

gms

Powder sugar

30 gms
Eggs 1

Milk

50 ml
Vanilla essence ¼

Mixed fruits

50 gms
Icing sugar 150

gms

Method:-

  1. Sieve flour, cream sugar and butter and rub into the flour.
  2. Make a well in the center add egg, milk, and essence, add yeast and knead into a smooth dough cover under a wet cloth for 20 minutes.
  3. Roll the dough into a thin square, sprinkle with mixed fruits.
  4. Roll out from one end to the other and cut into equal proportions.
  5. Arrange in the tray and let it set till double in size.
  6. Bake at 200C for 15 minutes.

Today’s Recipe – Salt Biscuits

INGREDIENTS QUANTITY UNITS
 
Refined Flour 250 gms
Baking powder ½ tsp
Margarine 130 gms
Salt 5 gms
Sugar 20 gms
Compressed yeast 5 gms
Essence optional
Lukewarm water 100 ml

Method:-

  1. Add yeast in 100 ml of lukewarm water and keep aside for 10 minutes.
  2. Add sugar and salt in yeast mixture and stir well.
  3. Sieve flour and baking powder together.
  4. Cream fat till light and add the yeast mixture gradually creaming well all the time.
  5. Mix in flour and knead into soft dough.
  6. Cut into even portions, the size of walnut and place on the greased baking tray, press and prick the portions.
  7. Bake at 300° f for about 25 minutes till golden brown.

Requirement

Method:-

  1. Cut the chicken into small bits and slices.
  2. Fry them till they are brown in color.
  3. In a Baking vessel arrange the fries to spread over the area.
  4. Spread the fried chicken over the fries.
  5. Cover them with the grated cheese.
  6. Put the vessel in the oven as long as it takes for the cheese to melt.
  7. Cut All the vegetables in small peaces for the salad.
  8. Mix in the desired sauces with the vegetables(Like mayonnaise, mustard, Barbeque etc.).
  9. Spread the salad over the dish and serve.
