Today’s Recipe – Vanilla Buns

Vanilla buns
Butter 55 gms
Sugar 115 gms
Flour 115 gms
Baking powder ¼ tsp
Egg 2 nos
Vanilla essence Few drops
Milk or water if necessary 30 ml approx.

Method :-

  1. Whisk butter and sugar till light and fluffy.
  2. Beat the eggs and add gradually into the mixture while simultaneously beating the mixture.
  3. Mix the flour and baking powder and fold into the creamed mixture with sufficient milk to give a dropping consistency then add the vanilla essence, mix it lightly but well.
  4. Half fill the greased patty tins.
  5. Bake at 375° f for 15 – 20 minutes till firm to touch.
  6. Remove them from the oven and serve as you like.
