¼ Cup
Vanilla Essence ½

Bread Slices

Honey or Maple syrup ½

Method:-

  1. In a small bowl mix the cinnamon, nutmeg and sugar, set side.
  2. Mix together sugar mixture, vanilla essence, eggs, milk and pour into a shallow vessel(which is easy for the bread to be dipped into).
  3. Dip the bread into the egg mixture.
  4. In a non-stick pan melt the butter at medium heat.
  5. Fry the breads till the brown on each side.
  6. Serve with the syrup.

Cardamom powder ¼

Method:-

  1. Whisk butter, sugar and cardamom powder together till mixed properly.
  2. Sieve flour and baking powder together then mix with the butter, sugar and cardamom powder mixture.
  3. Knead well to form a smooth dough.
  4. Add the raisins into even portions and round them.
  5. Keep it on a greased tray bake at 300° f for 10 – 15 minutes.

Powder sugar

Eggs 1

Milk

50 ml
Vanilla essence ¼

Mixed fruits

50 gms
Icing sugar 150

gms

Method:-

  1. Sieve flour, cream sugar and butter and rub into the flour.
  2. Make a well in the center add egg, milk, and essence, add yeast and knead into a smooth dough cover under a wet cloth for 20 minutes.
  3. Roll the dough into a thin square, sprinkle with mixed fruits.
  4. Roll out from one end to the other and cut into equal proportions.
  5. Arrange in the tray and let it set till double in size.
  6. Bake at 200C for 15 minutes.
