Refined Flour 1 Cup
Salt ½ Tsp.
Butter 4 Tbsp.
Eggs 4 No.
Grated Cheese 1 Cup
Black Pepper Powder ½ Tsp.
Finely Chopped Onion 1 Medium size

Method:-

In medium bowl, mix flour, salt and butter and knead into a dough.

Gather the dough and make it flat on a lightly floured surface.

wrap it in a plastic and refrigerate for 40-45 minutes.

Flour 140 gms
Powdered sugar 115 gms
Butter 85 gms
Curd 15 gms
Cardamom 2 gms
Soda bicarb ½ tsp
Ammonium bicarbonate 1/8 tsp

Method:-

  1. Sieve the flour.
  2. Whisk the butter and sugar to creamy consistency.
  3. Beat in the curd, soda, ammonia, cardamom powder and cream well, gently fold in the flour and knead it into dough.
  4. Roll and divide the dough into 20 equal portions.
  5. Make round balls and place on a baking sheet and leave for about an hour.
  6. Bake at 120° c for 30 minutes.

Today’s Recipe – Scotch Eggs

Chopped Parsley 1

Eggs

Bread Crumbs 150

Black Pepper

Oil As

Required

Method:-

  1. Put 8 eggs in a vessel full of cold water so that the eggs are submerged.
  2. Bring the water to boil, then boil for 3-4 minutes.
  3. Remove the eggs and put the in cold water till cool and peel the shell off carefully.
  4. Put the chicken in another bowl with the parsley, mustard, nutmeg powder, salt and pepper(as per taste).
  5. Mix all the ingredients properly and divide them in 8 portions.
  6. Put a handful of flour, the 2 beaten eggs and bread crumbs in three different plates.
  7. Apply some flour on your hand(to avoid the chicken from sticking in your hands), roll a egg in the flour and cover the egg with the a portion of divided chicken mix and mould it properly with your hands.
  8. Heat enough oil in a pan to deep fry the eggs.
  9. Roll the chicken wrapped egg in the flour , shake off any excess, then roll it in the beaten eggs next in the breadcrumbs.
  10. Roll it again in beaten eggs then in breadcrumbs for a really good coating.
  11. Then deep fry the roll till golden brown and crispy.
  12. Remove the roll and put it in on a kitchen tissue roll.
  13. Then serve.
